Peek is a semi-crystalline high temperature thermoplastic that offers design engineers a truly unique combination of exceptional performance characteristics. Peek offers good wear resistance and can be used continuously up to 480°F. Peek is a high strength alternative to fluoropolymers. It carries a V-0 flammability rating and has very low levels of smoke generation and toxic gas emission. This material is also available in glass filled and carbon filled as a custom run.

Peek is chemically resistant to a wide range of organic and inorganic liquids and is insoluble in all common solvents. Peek has a very low moisture absorption and good wear and abrasion resistance. Peek has a high tensile strength and rigidity. Peek is FDA/USDA compliant.
